Craig’s career business accomplishments  have centered on successful product market entry, building new businesses to commercial scale and profitabilityCraig, turnarounds of struggling product lines, and business strategic planning.

Craig is a Vice President and Industry Practice Leader of our Chemical Marketing Consulting Group.

Craig recently retired from Lyondell Basell Industries (LBI), a global petrochemicals leader where he held global general and senior marketing management positions during his 20+ year career there.

In his most recent position with LBI, Craig was Global Business Director for a $100MM specialty adhesives business and managed the development of all new global polymers businesses for LBI. For seven years prior to that, he was a Marketing Director of LBI’s North American $1.5B polypropylene polymers business.

For several years prior to that assignment, Craig was Global Business Director of a $500MM elastomeric materials business operating plants in Europe and North America. From 1996 through 1999, he was an expatriate in Tokyo, Japan as a Managing Director of the LBI’s joint venture which marketed specialty materials to the Japan based global automotive industry.

Prior to Japan, Craig served as a Director of Marketing, Director of Sales and Director of Business Development for LBI’s North American polypropylene business during the period 1989-1996.

Before Lyondell Basell,  he held marketing and sales management positions in the plastic packaging industry including 5 years serving as Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for the Plastics Packaging division of Consumers Glass Company (now part of Winpak Inc.) and six years in  marketing management  and strategic planning roles with Continental Can Company.

Craig graduated from The Johns Hopkins University in Mathematical Sciences and received his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
