Rob Grady

Grady_Headshot_Cropped_14Rob is a marketing veteran with over 25 years’ experience in advertising, marketing and marriage. After a long career at Delta Air Lines, and an entrepreneurial stint,  more recently he has put food on the table as a Sales and Marketing consultant.  Along the way he had stop at Allstate Insurance where he helped develop a pipeline of affinity partners to support a new P&C distribution channel there.

As a consultant he has been involved in projects for small companies and and Fortune 100 leaders.  Focus areas have included loyalty strategy and tactical support, partnership marketing, CRM, communications, sales, brand building and project management.  Engagements have also included financial modeling, program measurement/evaluation, web content consulting, project management, email development including design and execution, copywriting for PR and marketing materials, and web content deployment.

He was the co-founder of Healthy Rebates, an Atlanta based start-up that promoted savings into Health Savings Accounts and was sold in 2012 to Retail Benefits, Inc.

The bulk of his career was with Delta Air Lines where he served as General Manager, Worldwide Partners.  At Delta, he was responsible for business development of SkyMiles marketing partners, day-to-day management of over 50 global SkyMiles Partners, and the development and execution of Delta’s incentive, purchase, gift and mileage transfer programs.  Grady was also responsible for the launch of the Delta SkyMiles American Express credit card and Delta’s international credit card programs.

In 2003 Rob was recognized formally by his peers in Consumer Marketing at Delta for his contributions to the organization (and has a nice piece of glass to prove it).  In 2007, after having left Delta, in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of SkyMiles, Delta’s loyalty program, Rob was recognized by Delta as one of the key leaders in the success of the loyalty program from its inception in 1982 (and once again received a large piece of glass to prove it).

Rob is a life-long member of the First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta and he served for many years on the Alumni Governing Board of the Westminster Schools of Atlanta. He is happily married to Tracy and has two children.  When not cheering for his kids he is an avid bicyclist, reader, and CBO (Chief Blogging Officer) for “Off The Top Of Our Heads,” a cultural perspective blog he developed and co-writes with his daughter.
