In early 2009, Keith founded Blizzard Consulting after successful stints at both Marriott International and Ernst & Young Consulting. Keith is the President and Industry Practice Leader of our Loyalty Marketing Consulting Group.
During his 20 years at Marriott International, he built and managed many of Marriott’s most important marketing assets. Based on his insights and business case recommendations, Marriott embraced the concept of revenue management, launched Marriott.com, and launched and embraced both consumer and B2B eCommerce.
Keith managed the strategic development and the launch of Marriott Rewards. Under his leadership it matured into a perennially recognized and leading loyalty program in the hospitality industry. With his help, the program evolved into the world’s multi-brand, global loyalty program. Many of the programs and annual promotions he and his team devised and implemented are still integral and valuable parts of the program today – still reaping annual industry awards!
After a successful stint launching Marriott Rewards, Keith was challenged with the task of globally expanding Marriott’s Corporate Strategic Alliance team and was instrumental in developing several productive, best in class, enterprise-to-enterprise relationships for Marriott. Most recently, Keith was instrumental in building the hotel industry’s first sales force exclusively focused on mid-sized corporations – something Marriott’s competitors are still trying to emulate.
Prior to his successful career at Marriott International, he broadened his business acumen by working at Ernst & Young Consulting where he was engaged on many high profile consulting assignments in the travel, retail, and financial industries.
Keith earned a B.A in Political Economics from The Johns Hopkins University and his MBA in Finance/Marketing from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. When he is not working or hanging out with his family, you can find him on the tennis court or coaching boys lacrosse every spring.
